Thanksgiving in Canada

Santa and Mrs. Claus left the North Pole to travel to Canada for celebration of Thanksgiving, which is held there around this time every year.

This is a tradition because Mrs. Claus has family there. Because things are so busy for Santa and Mrs. Claus during November and December they like to take this break every year to see family.
Some elves were speculating that Santa could not possibly leave due to the crisis in Santa’s workshop. But he didn’t want to let Mrs. Claus down and he has great confidence in the elves he is leaving in charge in his absence.
For more information about this break for Santa and Mrs. Claus, please listen to the North Pole Radio News report in the player above.
