Elves Working Overtime
Elves in Santa’s Workshop are working overtime in an effort to clear the backlog generated by a tough year of getting supplies to the North Pole.

Most elves I talked to in the Workshop today are happy to have all the extra work.
Elf Ruben, a lathe operator in the Woodworking Department, tells me that the supply of wood has been so short for most of the year he has had to put in hours doing things that he normally does not do. He’s happy to be working with wood again.
Ruben and others typically start their workday around 6am and take a half hour lunch around 11am. They worked until about 3pm and then head home for a couple of hours to see their family. Ruben then comes back after 5pm and works at least four more hours.
Thousands of other elves are doing the same.
This is just one way Santa’s workshop is making up the shortfall in production.
