Worried Mail Floods the North Pole
The North Pole Post Office reports that mail coming in from believers around the world is setting records in October and it reflects concerns and anxieties over the Crisis in Santa’s Workshop.
Weeks ago the Post Office launched Operation Toy Shop, an initiative to encourage the timely submission of wish lists for Santa. By sending in wish lists early believers actually help move things along iu Santa’s workshop.
That effort has been successful and North Pole Post Master Elf Hugo Slavia says more wish lists are coming in than ever during the month of October. But so too are emails for Santa and messages for elves, with most expressing concern or sharing support for efforts to help Santa’s workshop catch up.
Officials at the North Pole, including elves on Santa’s council, plan to bring up the issue in scheduled meetings with Santa this week.
