8 Weeks Until Christmas
Hi friends, there are now just 8 weeks until Christmas.
And guess what? I got to see Trixie, my reindeer, last night. She was home for a few hours to get caught up on her shots. As you know she is on the test flight team for the test flights of Santa’s sleigh. I wasn’t expecting to see her until after Christmas.
She’s fine. She feels really good. And she is super happy to be working the test flights of Santa’s sleigh again. I’m told that part of the reason Trixie is so happy is because Santa’s sleigh is doing really well. She wants to get back there as soon as she can because they are getting ready to do the speed trials.
Trixie loves the speed trials. The sleigh engineers I talked to at North Pole Flight Command said the speed trials are something they have all been looking forward to all year long. They think this sleigh could be a record breaker and I guess the speed trials might confirm that.
I’m not sure if Trixie is going to participate in the Reindeer Games. Some reindeer are sitting out this year of the games because of the work they’re doing, including many of the reindeer on the test flight teams.
They aren’t required to do that. Everyone knows the reindeer have to compete to get positions on Christmas Eve working for Santa. Trixie got to serve on the backup team last year and that’s a big accomplishment. But that only happened because she did so well in the Reindeer Games.
This year I don’t know what she is going to do.
