The Weather Department at North Pole Flight Command issued a winter weather warning for the week of Thanksgiving.

North Pole Weather

The weather has already been an issue for weeks at the North Pole, impacting departures and arrivals of sleigh bringing much needed supplies for Santa’s workshop.

But the forecast for next week looks particularly challenging. Elf Seymour Snow says the weather could impact the Thanksgiving Day Elf Parade and other traditional North Pole Weather events.

Flight planners in North Pole Flight Command are also concerned about Santa’s late night return scheduled for November 26th. Santa will only be at the North Pole for a very brief period of time and some are questioning if it is worth returning home for such a short break considering the weather conditions.

The Office of Mrs. Claus dispatched those concerned by issuing a press release stating that Santa will be home for Thanksgiving no matter what the weather is.

Thank you Frank for that! I am so grateful to be doing the radio news. It has always been my favorite subject you guys do. I love news reporting! It was an honor being asked to become a Video News Reporter and NOW a Radio News Reporter. I really hope it feels calm and not chaotic. Let’s just hope the electricity doesn’t go out. Or that would be awful! Merry Christmas!

Thank you, Elf Harold, and thank you, Elves Frank, Crash, and Westover! I hope the weather will be calm during the Thanksgiving parade and when Santa returns. Is the electricity at the North Pole okay? Please let us know if they need the snow removal work or the snow arch. I am delighted to help them. Stay dry, warm, and healthy, and Merry Christmas! 🦌🛷🥁⛄️
