Extra Reindeer Bring Santa Home
Santa Claus has returned home tonight from his travels so that he can enjoy Thanksgiving with Mrs. Claus and all the elves at the North Pole.

Just a day ago we reported on a special mission that sent Rudolph, Dancer, Donner and Blitzen to Santa. Nobody knew then why they were being called into service. Now we do know.
The snowy and stormy conditions at the North Pole was the reason Santa asked for them. Santa already had a team of six reindeer with him and he could have likely returned to the North Pole with just them. But for the safety of everyone involved, Santa called for his best “storm reindeer” to bring him home.
Donner and Blitzen, as you know, anchor Santa’s A-team of reindeer as they are the biggest and the strongest on the team. Rudolph’s talents are likewise well know and his bright red nose is great in stormy weather.
But Dancer was a surprise to some people.
She should not have been a surprise. If you read about Santa’s reindeer you know Dancer is excellent in snow and mud.
