Santa’s Workshop is 44 Days Behind
The Workshop Crisis Management Task Force reports today that Santa’s workshop is 44 days behind with 26 days remaining until Santa’s launch.
This is the 2nd productive week in which a staggering 14 days was made against the deficit. Elves in the workshop cheered when they heard the news.
“We don’t like being in this position,” Elf Bernard said. “We are not only behind but I think we could be making some mistakes. Working this fast comes with some risks. But in my conversation with Santa today he reminded me that we don’t have to be perfect in everything we do. It’s Christmas not brain surgery. If we make mistakes, we’ll fix them”.
Thanksgiving Day has a little different feel this year with so many elves alternating between work in Santa’s workshop and celebratory Thanksgiving events with home, family and community. But most seem to agree, it feels like Christmas.
