The Power of Christmas Cookies
There are many believers writing in good questions to the North Pole about cookies for Santa. Some are sending in recipes and a few are even sending actual cookies for Santa to test.

Santa appreciates it but you have to remember a few things: first of all, Santa’s not here. He is visiting with believers all over the world. So if you send cookies to the North Pole right now he can’t test them for you. If you’re sending cookies to the North Pole right now, it’s not Santa who gets them.
I work for Mrs. Claus and while she has a lot of information to share about the kinds of cookies Santa likes she thinks you should first understand why cookies are so important to Santa in the first place.
There is a reason why cookies are part of Christmas Eve traditions. Cookies serve a very important purpose for Santa on Christmas.
Did you know that?
Most people think of Santa as a big guy – a fat man. He’s not. Under that suit Santa is really a man in outstanding physical shape. But he DOES eat a lot of cookies.
But only on Christmas Eve.
You see, if you ask Santa himself what his favorite cookie is he will tell you “All of them!” and that’s because Santa does not care what kind of cookie you leave for him.
Santa always says as long as a cookie is made with and served with love, he loves them.
Now, Mrs. Claus will soon be sharing some recipe ideas with you on a special page she is building that shares Christmas Eve tips, ideas, recipes and activities. Cookies are just a part of that special page. We’re working very hard on it.
And that’s because you HAVE to leave cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve. It’s more than tradition. It is part of what fuels Santa to get around the world in the short amount of time that he does. Did you know that?
