A Working Thanksgiving at the North Pole

/

While Thanksgiving is festive with many traditional activities at the North Pole it remains a working holiday this year for many elves.

Thanksgiving

Santa’s workshop remains operational today as thousands of elves continue to work around the clock to overcome the crisis in Santa’s workshop. Their shifts are shorter so they can have time to be with their families but elves keep showing up.

As you hear in the North Pole Radio News report above they are having some fun – with chickens – in Santa’s workshop today.

At North Pole Flight Command sleigh traffic controllers are keeping the Sleigh Port open for elves on active duty in remote locations who first come home for Thanksgiving and then soon return to work in various places around the world.

North Pole Flight Command’s Weather Center is an active place as well with elves staying on to forecast the weather on sleigh transport routes.

For more information about elves working this Thanksgiving, please listen to the North Pole Radio News report in the player above.
