Operation Airlift Begins to Organize

Sleighs for Operation Airlift are starting to line up for launch at the Sleigh Port at the North Pole.
They are starting the long process of operations that happens in advance of Santa’s flight.
Operation Airlift is the transport of presents, toys, gifts of all types, personnel and other material away from the North Pole in association with Operation Merry Christmas.
First the order of sleighs are determined then a checklist of needed equipment is made for each sleigh.
An inspection of each sleigh is then made to make sure it is safe to fly and able to accommodate the equipment that has been ordered to it.
Payloads are very important for planning purposes. Each load is considered for its final destination, the time of flight required to get there, and the elf power needed to load and unload it.
Each sleigh after it is loaded is carefully weighed and then the sleigh gets assigned a pilot that best matches the capacity and flight demands of the sleigh. A pilot has to be certified to these specs.
This process takes weeks. Each sleigh has a QR code painted on the sides and the rear of the craft, allowing for workers anywhere in the world to access its manifest and other information.
Likewise, onboard radio equipment puts out a beacon of sorts that is encrypted and only received by radio receivers in each Regional Tracking Center, each ship of the North Pole navy and in other facilities around the world which give tracking telemetry of the sleigh in flight with all the accompanying information about the sleigh and it’s pilot.
Reindeer, too, are assigned to each sleigh during these weeks of Operation Airlift.
The Tracking Santa radio show might or might not include news of Operation Airlift in the radio coverage before Santa’s flight.

Thanks to everyone and all the Reindeer that makes Operation Airlift a success.
It’s so exciting to think that I could see a flying sleigh and reindeer any time in the next few weeks!! Huge thank you to everyone involved in Operation Airlift (and everyone involved in Operation Merry Christmas as a whole) for what they do.
Very interesting! I wondered how one sleigh could carry all the toys needed for all the children in the world at one time.
Thank you, Elf Harold! I’m so glad to hear about Operation Airlift! Yeah, it must be a big project! Do both the Airlift and test flight sleighs work together or separately? I wonder if the airlift sleighs fly over my country, which is a small country, though! I’m curious how often the sleighs deliver toys to Santa’s sleigh. Thank you, elves Frank and Crash. Yeah, Santa’s job sounds magic. Santa can do it on Christmas Eve, thanks to all the thousands of elves and reindeer! I’m delighted to work with them for Santa, even though my job is small.
