Test Flights to End Soon
The test flights of Santa’s sleigh may be ending soon.
According to flight planners in North Pole Flight Command, the test flights just entered Sector 5 near the US and Mexican border near San Diego. Engineers are testing some loaded maneuvers of Santa’s sleigh and expect those to take no longer than 10 days.
When those tests are complete they say Santa’s sleigh has no more planned tests to conduct. As such, the test flight teams could return to the North Pole.
Some are speculating that the test flight pilots and reindeer, who have been working almost non-stop since June, will be needed to assist with Operation Airlift and will require a few days off before Christmas to rest up for that effort.
Engineers say this sleigh has the potential to be one of the fastest in history for Santa thanks to the successful test flights of the past six months.
North Pole Flight Command also demonstrated today how data from Santa’s Map instantly shows up on Santa’s Sleigh.
