Fears of the Bah Humbug Virus Strike the North Pole
Hey everyone!
It seems there is more to the story we talked about yesterday from the North Pole Medical Center.
I received a call later yesterday from Elf Mari, a nurse who works in the lab there at the Med Center, and she told me elves there were testing for the presence of the Bah Humbug virus.
Ever since the North Pole was nearly shut down by the virus during the 1998 Christmas season we have had fears of it’s return every Christmas season. It has never returned though.
The North Pole is like anywhere else that has a lot of people. Sicknesses go around and elves get sick like anyone else.
The Bah Humbug Virus, however, is a bad, bad sickness.
It saps your Christmas spirit. It makes you grumpy.
It makes it so that Christmas is dreadful to you. If you get the bug you won’t want to hear Christmas music, see a Christmas tree, sing a Christmas song or even eat a Christmas cookie.
I really hope they don’t find the presence of the Bah Humbug Virus. Folks have been talking about it here all night. They remember how horrible that Christmas was in 1998.
They certainly don’t want to go through that again.
