There isn’t a tree at the North Pole that isn’t decorated for Christmas. But for people around the world this weekend represents the most popular time to put up and decorate a Christmas tree in a home.

Christmas Tree

As such, and according to North Pole Tradition, Santa wishes to remind you of the importance of your Christmas tree.

What kind of Christmas tree that you prefer in your home is not important. It can be a fir or not. It can be artificial or real. It can be decorated in any way that makes you happy.

What matters first is that it is a tree. The tree is the oldest symbol of both life and family in the history of the world. The tree is a reminder of all that is right and good about Christmas. As such, when we bring them into our homes, they become a part of our family.

That is why Santa encourages you to give your tree a name. This year, Santa’s personal Christmas tree in the Claus home has the name of Merry Bell. Santa says he chose that name this year in honor of a cat he had as a boy that shared the same name.

Santa says that gathering as a family regularly around the tree is very important. It is important, he said, to say loving and kind things while around the tree. He said to check the water every day, if it is a real tree, and keep all trees regardless of their type away from heat sources.

Santa says singing and laughing around a tree will help it glow. The brighter it glows the more it adds to the happiness in a home.

Santa says that when he visits a home every Christmas Eve it tells him about the family that is there. He can tell a happy home by how happy the tree is. Santa takes great joy in seeing the beautiful decorated tree in your home.

Hi I’m new here and I just want to tell y’all all MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎁🎄

Hi. Santa

Elf Crash and Elf Frank ya’ll are so funny. Sometimes we have a real tree and Sometimes we use an artificial one. So if it’s an artificial one and you give it a name does it stay that name or do you still change it every year? Merry Christmas 🎄

Thank you, Elf Harold! What is your tree name this year? Wow, they are lovely names! I love Sant’s tree name, too! Do they use the same tree or different trees every year? Is choosing a new name for the same tree every year okay? Elf Crash, I’m curious why you chose the name for your tree. Elf Frank, I like the name, but I wonder if you would change another name again. I hope your tree will have a nice name soon. Okay, I’ll talk to my trees, too, to help glow. Merry, bright, peaceful Christmas to you all!… Read more »
