Cookies for Santa is a long-standing tradition. But you would not believe how many questions we get about cookies and Santa every year.

In fact, Mrs. Claus was at the North Pole Community Events center today giving a class titled “Cookies for Santa”. It seems some people are so worried about getting it wrong that they feel the need to be instructed.

There is no need to fret. Santa loves all cookies.

Why?

Well, because all cookies are made with love.

You see, some people can make some weird stuff. That’s because the ingredients available to them, the dietary things they have to follow or because their own culture or traditions are different can sometimes lead to strange cookies for Santa. He loves to tell the story of one well-meaning lady who made him cookies out of kale.

That matters not at all to Santa. He understands the intent. He appreciates the gesture. He loves the idea that someone took the time and the care to make something just for him.

So he takes all cookies and eats every last one of them.

Of course, he likes some more than others. Mrs. Claus even says he does have a favorite kind. But you’ll never hear Santa admit it or tell you about it. And that is because Santa doesn’t like to squelch the creativity of his friends and cookies, Santa tells us, is a creative endeavor just oozing with love.

So, if you’re going to leave out cookies for Santa this year don’t worry about what kind to make. In fact, Santa always tells people to make THEIR favorite cookie to share with Santa. Santa loves to experience new kinds of cookies almost as much as he likes to experience new kinds of people.

Just don’t leave Santa any broccoli. That wouldn’t be very Christmas-like.

Thank you, Elf Trixie for sharing. I think most parents in my country don’t know about it, so I feel sorry for Santa if he gets hungry and thirsty during being here. I hope kids remembered it if they learned in Christmas lessons and ask their parents. Thank you, Elf Frank and Crash; I don’t have some ingredients here what he likes, but I’ll try to make cookies with love and thankfulness. Okay, I never leave Santa any broccoli and eggplants too lol! Merry Christmas and I’m looking forward to hearing how you spend Christmas season and prepare for Santa! ^^

I always tell them the Saint Nicholas was the Saint of the Children named St.Nicholas and he loves children and bring them a gift. Believing is everything. Merry Christmas Santa.
