Update on the Reindeer
Today was the first full day of work for Santa’s reindeer out at the Reindeer Barn. Believe it or not, there is a lot to do in order for them to get ready for Christmas.
First comes a physical evaluation of each and every reindeer. This is a huge job as more than 60,000 reindeer have been counted as being at the North Pole. This process of checking their health and ability will take teams in the Reindeer Department about a week to complete.
Then comes the schedule of events that will help the reindeer get ready and for Santa to assign each reindeer to duty. We anticipate the annual Reindeer Games will be announced soon.
The reindeer also have family here, in many cases. Of utmost interest and concern are the new reindeer babies that are born while here at the North Pole for Christmas. One of the biggest jobs is giving them all names. Santa likes to have suggestions for baby reindeer names. You can add yours at this link.

I like to march in the Santa Claus parade in Toronto.
Merry Christmas! Thank you, Elf Harold. Did Santa’s A team reindeer also put the check equipment? I wish I could help Elf Victor for the health check of all the reindeer. And I’d like to name a baby reindeer too! Thank you, Elf Crash and Elf Frank; I hope Dancer feels well soon with eggnog! It would be nice if Rudolph’s light could change colors depending on the weather and the location, so Santa can see well. XD
