9 Weeks Until Christmas

Hi ho! Only 9 weeks to go!

Countdown to Christmas

Can you believe Vixen?!!! Oh my gosh. She’s the biggest rockstar here at the North Pole right now. Everywhere she shows her pretty face she gets cheers.

Vixen, as you may not know, likes to wear big bows. She’s a girl and she wants everyone to know she is a girl, so she has always worn big flashy bows.

Some in the past have been critical of that because they feel that the bows create wind resistance that could affect the speed of Santa’s sleigh.

But she’s always insisted on wearing the bows and Santa has always allowed it.

This week when she won the Marathon, an event she wasn’t supposed to do well in, she wore a bright neon green polka dotted bow.

It became famous on television here at the North Pole because the cameras focused on that bow as Vixen raced in a raging blizzard. We couldn’t see her but we could see her bright bow as she ran the race.

Now everyone is wearing bright neon green bows at the North Pole. It has become not only a symbol of winning but of also working hard in the face of adversity.

Vixen, who has had a lot of physical challenges the past two years, is winning hearts with her flashy bows and her persistent dominance in the Reindeer Games.

Let me just tell you right now it is going to take one whale of an upset to keep Vixen from winning these games.

Blitzen, who is a huge reindeer who has won these games many times in the past, has yet to even win one event this year. He’s never been shut out before.

A lot of people are focusing so much on that fact that they are starting to feel a little sorry for Blitzen.

Now, I’ll tell you – Blitzen’s a humble guy.

He’s cheering on Vixen just as much as anyone. But he doesn’t like to lose and tomorrow’s event of the uphill sprint – which is 1000 yards of the most grueling type of climbing you can imagine – has always been an event where Blitzen’s sheer size and strength has been a clear advantage.

But Vixen is projected to win that event, with Blitzen projected 2nd.

Blitzen has never been the underdog like this before, so the event should be very interesting.

But Blitzen is not bitter or angry or upset. He’s smiling. He’s quite the reindeer.

I know Halloween is coming up and we have some things to talk about in regards to that North Pole event but right now it’s all about these very exciting reindeer games.

I hope you’re around to share the news the next few days.

I got to get one of those neon green bows! The reindeer games sure is exciting. Wish I could be there in person to cheer them on. Have fun at the Halloween party everyone. Looking forward to all the upcoming news.
Thanks Ellf Trixie

Thank you, Elf Trixie! Just 9 weeks! How exciting! I heard the test pilots and reindeer are returning to the North Pole. I hope she will see Trixie soon! Vixen is so brave and beautiful! She gives us hope! I should get a bright neon green bow! That’s competing games; of course, every reindeer tries their best, but only one can get first place, which is the one who makes the most effort and has the best luck. I hope all the reindeer will praise Vixen like Blitzen (some may be frustrated with themselves, so I hope next time!). Blitzen… Read more »
