Update on Santa’s Reindeer

North Pole Radio News provides an update on Santa’s reindeer and their return to the North Pole today. While several have returned not yet all of them are back, notably, lead reindeer Donner.
In the radio report below, which is the first of this season, Elf Crash Murphy reports on Comet’s humorous return and why the return of Donner is so important in getting the other reindeer ready.
Santa’s reindeer did not return last year until late November and they all arrived at this same time. The year the reindeer are returning in small groups or individually. So far, we have seen Blitzen, Vixen, Comet return. A few days ago the Three Amigos, as they are called – Dasher, Dancer, and Prancer – returned together.
Some of the returning reindeer are being temporary assigned to test flight duty with Santa’s sleigh. Once all are back it is expected that the Reindeer Operations Department will call them together once a new training plan is in place.
The first radio news report signals a new routine, at least for this early part of the season, where a new radio report will be posted every Saturday morning. If breaking news of importance breaks you can bet the radio news elves will post up information as it becomes available.
