The Elf Parade at the North Pole on Thanksgiving Day is coming up soon and we are learning more about the event for this year.

Elf Parade

First of all, and most exciting for us, the tracker elf community from SantaTrackers.net have been invited to participate in the Elf Parade from where they live. Tracker elves are invited to dress up and/or decorate their trikes (or bikes) and share pictures via a special form set up at SantaTrackers.net.

We understand some sort of prize is being worked on for those elves who do choose to participate and share their creations through pictures at the website.

Second, we have a chat scheduled on Sunday, November 14th, at 4pm EST in the North Pole Chatroom with Elf Frank Myrrh and Elf Crash Murphy. Part of the purpose of this chat is to take and answer questions from site visitors about the elf parade. (Elf Crash usually participates and reports from the parade, while Elf Frank Myrrh files the report for North Pole Radio News).

Third, and this is breaking news, the Weather Department at North Pole Flight Command is issuing a weather advisory for heavy snow on Thanksgiving Day at the North Pole. Snow will not stop the parade from happening but if bitterly cold temps set in it could cancel the event. We are keeping a close eye on this story.

For more information about the Elf Parade please listen to the North Pole Radio News Report heard earlier today on Kringle Radio, posted in the player below.

Other details of the parade and the other Thanksgiving Day activities at the North Pole will be disclosed in future Santa updates as we get closer to the big day.
