Operation Merry Christmas is ending its fifth month in the countdown to Christmas this year. Elf Ernest gave a little bit of an update on the 24th of what Santa’s Workshop, the Wrapping Department and the North Pole Post Office are up to. But questions have come in about other efforts at the North Pole.

Operation Merry Christmas

Elf Frank Myrrh with North Pole Radio News checked in with Elf Crash Murphy at Flight Command and filed the lates radio news report, which you can hear in the player above. They talked about Santa’s new sleigh, the reindeer needed for the test flights and growing plans for Christmas in July.

In other news, many are asking about the reindeer. As you may know, Santa’s reindeer and, indeed, most reindeer used in flight support of Santa, migrate from the North Pole back to their native lands right after Christmas. They usually do not return until later in September or October.

The reindeer ranches that Santa has in operation around the world all report that the reindeer are doing well. Things remain on track for their return in the fall.

In all, Operation Merry Christmas seems to be progressing well. I did stop by Mrs. Claus’ office to chat and she indicated that if Santa was here he would be very pleased.

We will keep you posted.

Thank you, Elf Harold. I’m glad to hear Operation Merry Christmas is going well this year, and the test flight is coming soon! I’m curious about the design of the new sleigh, and the pilot and reindeer are the same members. Oh, how about reindeer Mighty Mick? Thank you, Elves Frank and Crash. I’m looking forward to hearing the following news and how different Christmas in July is from last year!

Thank you all for more great news! I’m glad to hear that the reindeer are doing well and wonder how the reindeer who are involved in the search for Santa are doing!
