Test Flight Update

After a few weeks of controversy for the test flights of Santa’s sleigh things have returned to a quiet routine. Officials in North Pole Flight Command announced today the test flights will exit from South America to fly over the skies of Australia for the first time this year.
Santa’s sleigh is still on Version 3, which has been flying now for about a month. The Sleigh Department says they have not received instructions to build Version 4 but they expect to maybe do so within the next few weeks.
Test flights of Santa’s sleigh will continue right up until Christmas Eve day. When the final version of the sleigh is flown that day it will return in time for it to be washed, waxed and made ready for Santa’s flight.
It was also announced today that the test pilots and reindeer will be taking a break from flights so they can return to the North Pole to celebrate the annual Halloween Party with the rest of the elves and their families.
We will keep you updated on the progress of the sleigh. For more news about Santa’s Sleigh, please listen to the North Pole Radio News Report in the player above.
