Track Santa as An Elf

Track Santa as an Elf

We get asked all the time about the difference between tracking Santa as a regular person and tracking Santa as an elf. As we approach the “Santa tracking season”, we thought we would try to answer some of these questions.

The North Pole has several websites like this one. They all serve the purpose of providing free information about Santa, the North Pole, Christmas and elf life.

Santa even offers a program at a website we run called SantaTrackers.net. That is where a regular person can become an elf to track Santa for Santa.

Why does Santa need Santa trackers?

The world is a big place. Come Christmas Eve, when Santa launches in his sleigh, he heads out to millions of places where things might have changed since the last time he visited. He needs elves who live in those places to tell him about the weather, changes in the local landscape, hazards that might now be in his way and other things that would be important to a man in a flying sleigh.

To get that, he needs elves all over the world.

Many an elf has started their career as a Santa tracker. Tracking Santa for Santa takes time to learn and it’s not like Santa tracking found anywhere else.

In that role you become part of the elf community. You meet with other elves who work at the North Pole, and in other places, who do other jobs that relates to Santa’s mission.

What is Santa’s mission? You read us all the time when we talk about it. It’s called Operation Merry Christmas. It encompasses everything that Santa does and every elf – even a tracker elf working from home – plays a part.

Right now, tracker elves by the millions are reporting information to their Elf Supervisors. They are doing roof inspections, and chimney reviews, and they are sending in reports of other types. North Pole Flight Command is starting to put together Santa’s flight plan for Christmas Eve – and they are using the reports that tracker elves submit.

But the work of a Santa tracker elf is only starting just now. There is a lot more to do as an elf in the days and weeks that lead up to Santa.

Are you interested in this but don’t know the steps? Here’s all you have to do:

  1. Read everything on this website, SantaUpdate.com. This is our general news site and it is for everyone in the world. We have been publishing from the North Pole since 1991. There is more information here than anywhere in the world. It comes FROM the North Pole.
  2. If you desire to become an elf, please visit ElfHQ.com. It contains all the basic information of first becoming an elf.
  3. Then head to SantaTrackers.net and register. There you can decide what kind of tracker elf you want to be and you can then start your career as an elf.

After those three steps are completed, you just need to stay connected via the websites. It might take years to learn how to be an elf and all that a tracker elf does. But it’s worth it.

Feel free to ask lots of questions. Reach out via the Elf Community at SantaTrackers.net. Send in questions right here on SantaUpdate.com. Listen to our podcasts, our radio news reports and visit with us in North Pole Chat.

You’ll get it. And yule have fun, too!
