41 Weeks Until Christmas

Hi all! Only 41 weeks remain until Christmas and we have some news to report. I’m sorry I’ve been missing weeks here and there but I just cannot get healthy. I lost my voice a few weeks back and Mrs. Claus sent me home to bed and sent me soup twice a day for a week.

That has left me a little out of the loop and now that I’m getting back on my feet I have been learning a lot about what’s going on.

Santa’s new sleigh for 2025 is off to a rough start. Designers have submitted no less than 6 designs to Santa and he’s rejected every one of them. I asked Santa about it and he told me that they want to get away too much from the designs of the last two years. Santa wants to stick with what has worked so well. Those sleighs the last two years have been record setters.

It’s still early because test flights of a new sleigh are not scheduled until sometime in June, so hopefully they come up with something Santa likes soon.

Disagreement seems to be in season these days with elves who work in planning for the season ahead. Elf Crash told me this happens every year until about the middle of May when Elf vacation season begins.

For his part, Crash tells me that they are arguing over potential locations for the Regional Tracking Centers this year.

We are not very far along in that process, to be honest. There are roughly 500 candidates per sector that have been listed out. We need to get that list whittled down.

Elf Crash says he’s not even planning to weigh in on it until those lists get smaller. I’ll keep you posted. (Or maybe NorthPoleFlightCommand.com will, IDK).

Anyways. Lots of Christmas stuff is happening at the North Pole and it seems to be getting busier by the day.
