Santa and Sleigh Cleared to Fly
Santa and his sleigh are cleared to fly around the world, according to North Pole Flight Command.
Flight Command works for months ahead of Santa’s flight to make sure he is welcome in any country in the world. There is a great deal of coordination that needs to take place with governments, airports and military units.
A long check list of places are considered and then a process is engaged in where the North Pole contacts each country to make sure Santa is safe to fly there. This has been going on for years and the vast majority of countries are very cooperative. Santa is known and loved by many of them.
As of today, Santa has been cleared to fly into every country without concern.
Santa’s sleigh is in the news as well. After months of test flights, the sleigh is coming home to rest for a few days. It will embark on one final test flight on December 23rd. More on that story from the North Pole Radio News report posted below.
