6 Weeks Until Christmas
Hi my friends, there are just 6 weeks now until Christmas!
I told you last week I wanted to talk about Santa’s reindeer a bit each week and tell you something new.
Today in my countdown segment about reindeer I’d like to talk a little bit about Prancer.
We don’t talk about Prancer much and that’s just the way she likes it. She is a shy sweet girl.
She is Dancer’s sister. I have taken to visiting Prancer each week because I really, really like her. I take her apples to eat. Her favorite apple is a Fuji apple, which is a bit different than the other reindeer. I think I am the only one who brings her the Fuji apples because when she sees me she runs right to me. Such a sweet reindeer! I just love her.
She has big eyelashes over very, very big eyes. I think sometimes she can see right through me. She knows I’m Trixie-the-reindeer’s Mom (so to speak) and when I talk to Prancer about how much I miss Trixie she always nuzzles my neck.
I like watching Prancer with the boy reindeer. They are bigger than she is. But she is faster than many of them. She has what Elf Victor calls “quickness” – which means she doesn’t appear to be faster but she really is fast. Elf Victor calls her “sneaky fast”.
I just thought you’d like to know a little bit more about her. Prancer just does not get talked about as much as the other reindeer.
The reindeer overall are scheming something when it comes to the Thanksgiving Day Elf Parade. I don’t know what.
They will be included in the parade. But they want to do something special. I’m trying to figure out who is driving it and what they might be planning.

Thank you, Elf Trixie! I’m so happy to hear about Prancer! She’s so gentle. Fuji apples are in my country so that I can send them to the North Pole anytime! I didn’t know she was Donner’s sister! I need to make their family tree. Do you have some pictures of her? Well, Elf Frank and Elf Crash, I can’t hear about his name. Is he Comma? Did he prank it only for the reindeer? I’m just wondering… Really, just asking for a friend… Um… Has anyone ever put sheets on the reindeer antlers and had them run around at night, maybe with little glowies attached to the sheet, so they look like ghosts? Because we could make flashlight tag sooooooooooo much scarier!
It sure does sound like Prancer is a sweet heart ❤️ and it sure does sound like Comet might be quite a prankster 😅. Since they love volleyball so much maybe try wrapping those antlers with bubble wrap and see how it goes. I just love hearing what all the reindeer are up too. Thanks for letting us know.😍
Huge thanks to Elf Trixie, Elf Frank, and Elf Crash for the wonderful reindeer reports! Prancer sounds incredibly sweet and like she’s a good listener – I didn’t know she was Dancer’s sister! I hope Santa’s reindeer are able to keep busy with volleyball and that Comet stays out of trouble. Can’t wait to hear about what they do for the Thanksgiving Day Elf Parade!
