Operation Merry Christmas Kicks Off
Greetings and welcome to the first day of Operation Merry Christmas 2018!
Everyone was back at work today after a snowy day off of Thanksgiving fun. The North Pole Post Office was the first crew on the job, checking in last night at 12:01 am as an army of elves returned to the post office to deal with the mail that had piled up since Wednesday. There was a lot of it!
The Tracking Center at North Pole Flight Command had their lights on early today. Test flights of Santa’s sleigh have resumed, as well as rigorous reindeer drills. We expect a lot more news from them in the coming days.
The best news of all came from Santa’s workshop. Every year on the day after Thanksgiving there is a senior elf staff meeting to assess where the work effort is and what will be needed before Santa flies. After looking at all of the numbers it was decided that Santa’s Workshop is ahead of schedule by about 2 full days. Excellent news!
All the pieces are in place for us to have a great Christmas season. We hope you still with us daily for the ride!
