Challenges for North Pole Security
With five days now until Santa launches we are receiving word from North Pole Security that there are many challenges facing North Pole Flight Command.
Computer issues, from hack attacks to bot swarms have plagued North Pole websites in recent days and caused some alarm in the regional tracking centers. No data has been lost and operations have not been interrupted due to these issues.
In addition, new threats have surfaced from various parts of the world. Elf Agent X, head elf of North Pole Security, says these threats are nothing news and to be expected as the world anticipates Santa’s launch.
“We encourage everyone to go about their merry business without concern,” Elf Agent X said. “We’re on the job. We’d call the present threat level normal. We are investigating every threat of kidnapping Santa. We are looking into those who publicize their desire to delay Santa’s launch or interfere with his flight. We hear this kind of stuff every year and we’re on top of it.”
