Test Flights End Early

In an unusual move North Pole Flight Command has ended the test flight phase of Santa’s sleigh. Version 2 of the sleigh has been in testing since June and it is customary for sleighs to fly up until the final hours before Santa’s launch.

Test Flights

Santa’s sleigh this year is highly touted, having flown over a million miles in the past six months and being tested in all kinds of weather. Flight Command shared that the test flights have set a variety of records.

Ending the flights really means there is nothing more than they can think of to improve upon with the new design. Santa authorized construction of the final version of the sleigh weeks ago and that is the model awaiting him in the Sleigh Barn for his launch, now less than a week away.

There will be one final “test flight”, which is customary. That flight takes off on December 23rd and returns in time for Santa to launch.

Thank you, Elf Harold! I was glad to hear that the results were excellent every time because I have seen them on the flight map daily. Everyone is excited about this sleigh flight on Christmas Eve, including the sleigh itself! Lol. Does that mean we need to work early on and more speedy, Elf crash? I’m delighted to work with all the elves for Santa and the historical sleigh! XD
