North Pole Celebrates a Thanksgiving Without Santa

North Pole Celebrates a Thanksgiving Without Santa

In another sign that Christmas is coming the first of several Thanksgiving celebrations was noted this week with Canadian Thanksgiving – a North Pole tradition.

Missing, of course, was Santa who loves this event and any other kind of Thanksgiving celebration.

“I’m sure, wherever he is, Santa is celebrating Thanksgiving,” Mrs. Claus said.

The continued absence of Santa at the North Pole still has folks here nervous.

In a way, they feel a little gypped because this is the time of year they normally get to see quite a bit of Santa.

He’s usually very absent for much of November and December as he visits with the children of the world in various locations.

Then right after Christmas Santa usually takes a bit of a break with Mrs. Claus and we don’t see much of him.

In the spring he’s busy with gardening and we do see him as that’s when he holds a lot of planning meetings and such.

But then he takes off for quite a while to vacation and visit relatives in far away places.

He’s usually back for Christmas in July and he keeps pretty close to home until November. The Halloween Party is also kind of a see-you-later party for us with Santa.

Well, he’s been gone since July 25th. And we’re missing him and we are worried about him.

Not hearing from him is the real problem. We just want to know that he is okay.

But Mrs. Claus today was smiling and didn’t appear concerned at all.

That’s so unlike her!

Kids Worried Santa Won’t Deliver

Kids Worried Santa Won’t Deliver

Yowza! Have we been buried in mail!

Ever since Elf Frank interviewed Elf Crash the other day and Crash speculated that if Santa isn’t around someone else would deliver for him our phones have been ringing off the hook and the mail coming into the North Pole Post Office has been off the charts.

Let me be clear right now: I don’t think Santa plans on missing Christmas. Yes, I know Santa is missing. And I know he hasn’t been around for months. But he said he would be back and I trust in that. So I personally don’t think there is anything to this rumor.

But Elf Crash is pretty certain that Santa has a plan in place if he can’t be here. And wait til you hear who he thinks will take Santa’s place if Santa can’t be here this year.

It will blow you away. Click the player below to listen!

What to Expect in Tracking Santa 2017

What to Expect in Tracking Santa 2017

Greetings Santa Fans!

If you haven’t noticed by now the North Pole is getting ready to track Santa for Santa. And there are lots of new things to share with you.

First of all, the Flight Command Center website has been totally redesigned.

It has great information about Santa, the sleigh and the reindeer.

And don’t miss the information about launching Santa, too.

Plus there is a world map there that shows you how Flight Command divides up the world and what we know about certain areas of the world and how they affect Santa’s flight.

Also, aside from becoming an elf and being a Santa Tracker, you can also register your location on Santa’s map. It’s pretty cool – because you can see all the areas of the world where Santa has trackers helping him on his flight.

Like always, we will have the news program steaming live on Kringle Radio – and now I’m hearing rumors of a program just for Santa trackers alone that will air when Santa tracker check-ins begin.

In all, we have an epic year of Santa tracking planned that you don’t want to miss!

Santa Skips a Tradition

Santa Skips a Tradition

Hello everyone,

It has been 73 days since we last saw Santa. It has been 73 days since ANYONE has seen Santa.

Both the North Pole Tracking Department and now the North Pole Security Department are using all their resources to try and find him.

But Santa just doesn’t want to be found.

And now it is affecting tradition.

Every year Santa meets with the media and they conduct an interview with him. You can read his past interviews at this link.

That’s not happening this year. This year Mrs. Claus is doing the interview. It should be published within the next few weeks (unless Santa shows up first).

That will make it really interesting and I am sure folks will enjoy it.

But I have to wonder how many other traditions are going to be disrupted this year because Santa Claus has disappeared.

Where, oh, where is Santa?

3 Months Until Christmas

3 Months Until Christmas

North PoleHappy Fall Greetings from the North Pole!

It is just three months until Christmas!

The nights have become frosty here at the North Pole and we have already had a lot of snow.

The seasons are definitely turning.

Despite what I wrote last week the mail still keeps coming in to the North Pole about Santa and where he is.

Some seem to think that Santa is kind of old and can’t take care of himself on a trip like this.

Others think that Santa is sort of fat and too out of shape to be taking a journey on foot.

Let me dispel some of those thoughts.

Santa is younger than you think and he is actually in excellent shape.

Hard to tell with that big heavy red suit you see him wear so often.

It is tough to report this but I cannot tell you right now where Santa is.

You see, we haven’t heard from him since he left.

He could be anywhere by now.

He said he would be traveling on foot. But eventually he is going to run into the ocean or have to cross a big empty area where getting to another place will require getting on a boat or taking a plane or something.

But we haven’t heard from him yet to know if that has happened.

I can tell you this. The guys in the tracking department are going crazy.

It’s their job, you see, to keep track of Santa but for this trip Santa just wouldn’t allow it.

Santa said he would eat by making friends. He said he would find shelter by building it, if he needed to.

He said he would get clothes and supplies and the things he needs by working for it.

Santa knows how to do all this stuff.

But he said his purpose in going wasn’t to test his skills of survival or even friend making.

Santa said he wants to see the real world from the ground. He wants to meet with people everywhere to see how they live, hear what they think about and talk about what they know.

He was kind of excited to take such a trip. Even if Mrs. Claus wasn’t too happy about it.

The tracking department, after about a month decided that with Santa nowhere to be found it would be good training to send trackers elves out there to see if they can find him.

So far nobody has spotted him.

I’ll keep you posted if we get any news from him. Meanwhile, we’re proud today to launch the first radio news report of the season from Kringle Radio. You can hear it through the player below.
